In March of 2014, Lubelski performed two live sets at Brooklyn’s Spectacle Theater, each with distinct accompanying visuals. "Urban Romance (Squalor)" was a collage-tribute composed of shots from various films centered on the long-gone “bad old days” of Manhattan's Lower East Side. "SHADOWS OF FORGOTTEN ANCESTORS (Excepts)" was a stripped down version of the 1965 magical realism film by Ukrainian director Sergei Parajanov.
