非常階段 (HIJOKAIDAN): 蔵六の奇病 (Zouroku no Kibyou) LP+7"
Not for the faint of heart!
Predating both Sonic Youth and Swans’ debut albums by a year, Zourokuno Kibyou, initially released in 1982, quickly vaulted Kansai noise rockers Hijokaidan to indie music fame. Compiling their early, borderline grotesque, extreme live performances, Zourokuno Kibyou is as much a historical document as it is one of the heaviest noise albums to ever come out of Japan. With cover art by legendary horror manga artist Hideshi Hino and a booklet containing photos from the wild performances that Hijokaidan was famous for, this is sure to satisfy even the most hardcore of hardcore fans. The LP comes with “A Tribute To Icchie”, a 7” originally released (only 14 copies were initially pressed!) in honor of original member Ichigura Akira’s passing, and repressed for the first time ever. Packaged with an OBI-strip on limited first edition vinyl, this deluxe edition of Zourokuno Kibyou is one you absolutely must not miss!
