Episode 003 of the Mausoleum has us paying tribute to summer time sounds. This may have been the cruelest of summers but sounds always help in the hardest of times and hopefully we can reanimate some sounds from the past to send a cool breeze your way.
If sweeping wistful beauty is your thing you’ll find it in Piccioni’s “It’s Possible” or Michelini’s “Il Volto Nascosto Di Luna”. Maybe you require something funkier and uptempo which brings those dancing shoes to Amethyst “Midnight Rendezvous” and Quest “Run, Jesse, Run”. Or maybe you need sounds to heat up your night. Look no further than Barbara Marchand “I Whisper Roll Over” and Figen Han’s “Pisi Pisi”.
Rounding out the show is a French Jazz-Funk grail and then a private press German Pop-Prog blaster. Summer is almost over so enjoy these tunes before being plunged into the darkness of Fall.
